BUDA MILL & GRAIN

OUR HISTORY

Then

The building that now houses Nate’s began life as one of several metal barns at the Buda Mill and Grain complex and was first used to store grain from the historic original 1914 cotton gin (later a feed mill) next door.  The building was re-purposed several times over the years and the name “Nate’s” comes from the name of the last tenant to occupy the space. In 2012 the Dahlstrom family began a  thoughtful and careful restoration of the entire property. Nate’s received a new cupola and walls of windows as well a complete interior overhaul. Where possible lumber and appointments from the original building were recycled and re purposed into the build. The end result we think speaks for itself.
